Isabell Kürschner from the Kötitz dairy farm in Saxony relies on PerformaNat products for optimum animal health

Isabell Kürschner takes care of a herd of 1,800 dairy cows at the Kötitz dairy farm in the north of Saxony. She prioritizes the health and performance of her animals. They are currently expanding the farm and achieving an impressive average milk yield of 37.5 kg per cow, despite a 45% proportion of heifers.

A particular focus is on the transition cows. To meet the increased nutritional requirements in this critical period, which cannot be fully met by feed alone, Isabell Kürschner relies on targeted support. All cows from the third lactation onwards receive the PerformaNat CalciumBolus as a prophylactic measure to ensure an optimal calcium supply. The combination of a gentle calcium source and the effects of phytogenic ingredients convinced her to use the product for the first time three years ago. The result: the cows have a stable start to lactation and show rapid feed intake.

The PerformaNat EnergieBolus is also used. In cases of conspicuous cows or positive ketosis tests, this is used specifically to stimulate rumen activity and support energy metabolism. This strategy enables Isabell Kürschner to effectively promote her animals' health. On a farm of this size, this is crucial for ensuring smooth workflows and allowing enough time for individual animal care.
