Stefan Thole has 65 black-and-white cows and a small number of red-and-white cows on his farm, with a milk yield of 10,300 litres.
How long have you been using PerformaNat Boluses? And why did you start using it?
We have been using the CalciumBolus and EnergyBolus since May 2023, when a PerformaNat sales representative introduced us to them. Our cows receive the CalciumBolus before calving and also afterwards (1 pack). Older cows are given a bolus before calving, followed by a calcium infusion if necessary.
Depending on age, condition and performance, an additional half-pack of energy bolus is given to fully support the cows.
If there is an unexpected drop in performance, we also administe EnergyBoluses.
After that, it works!
What convinced you to use our boluses regularly?
It's easier! The cows don't hit a low point and they get off to a great start into lactation instead!
